What is the Unprompted challenge?

Unprompted is the viral speaking game built on a single rule: one minute, one idea, make it yours. A player is shown a random topic they have never prepared for and has to talk about it — out loud, unscripted — for a full 60 seconds. No notes, no restarts, no "wait, let me think". How to play (3 steps)

1. Draw a topic. Press New Topic. A random prompt appears and the one minute countdown starts immediately — that surprise is the whole point.
2. Talk for the full minute. Say whatever comes to mind about the topic. Stories, opinions, tangents — everything counts, as long as you keep going until the beep.
3. Pass it on. Hand the device (or the mic) to the next player and draw again. Topics never repeat until the whole deck has been used, so every round feels fresh.

House rules are encouraged. Some groups allow one Skip per player per game; others treat a skip as a forfeit. Streamers often let chat vote on whether the minute "counted". You can also pause the countdown for interruptions and reset it for a clean second attempt while keeping the same topic.

Three tips for when you blank on a topic

• Buy time with a repeat. Say the topic back in your own words — "So, the weirdest thing I believed as a kid…" — while your memory searches. It sounds intentional and costs you five useful seconds.
• Use past, present, future. Almost any topic can be split into what it was like before, how it is now, and where it might go. Three tiny chapters will comfortably fill a minute.
• Zoom into one detail. Don't summarize — describe. One specific scene, person or object, painted with a little detail, is far easier to talk about than a general answer and far more fun to listen to.
